US 401 / LIGON MILL ROAD / MITCHELL MILL ROAD INTERSECTION, U-5748, WAKE COUNTY

Estimating that more than 93,000 vehicles will pass through daily by 2040, the NCDOT is upgrading this intersection as part of project U-5748. Right-of-way acquisition started in 2020, and construction is slated to begin in 2022.
